On May 31, 2022 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin received the US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas Westro.
The situation in Afghanistan, the fight against international terrorism and extremism, as well as other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
The two sides stressed the need to expand cooperation to strengthen borders and provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
