Meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of Central Asian countries

On July 20, 2022, in the city of Cholpon-Ota, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in the meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the Central Asian countries.

The leaders of the foreign affairs bodies discussed the issues of protection and comprehensive development of cooperation between the countries of the region in the political, commercial-economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors and other areas and exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues.

Moreover, special attention was paid to security issues in the context of the current situation in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the ministers coordinated the draft agenda and the final list of documents of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of the Central Asian States.

Before the meeting, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. N. Japarov received the ministers of foreign affairs.
