On May 17-22, 2021 in Khujand a regular meeting of the working groups of government delegations of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was held in the Joint Demarcation Commission of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
During the talks the sides discussed the work on demarcation of the Tajik-Uzbek state border and exchanged views on the project demarcation line and the installation of border markers on the Tajik-Uzbek state border.
The parties agreed to continue marking works on the state border of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
