Marriage of a Muslim man with a non-Muslim woman is permitted if she recognizes the existence of “one single God, accepts Jesus and Muhammad as God’s messengers and expresses her readiness to follow the prescriptions of the Holy Quran.”

The Spiritual Directorate considers it unacceptable for a Muslim woman to marry a man who does not consider himself part of the Muslim community, regardless of his views and beliefs.

In addition, according to the Moscow Mufti, in Russia it is necessary to “legalize polygamy,” since according to statistics, the number of women exceeds the number of men by 10 million.
