Oil Prices Drop Below $72 on Global Markets

London: The price of oil on the world markets has dropped below $72, APA reports. During trading operations at the ICE London Intercontinental Exchange, the cost of a May 2025 export contract for Brent crude oil decreased by 0.33% or $0.24, amounting to $71.92 per barrel.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on the New York NYMEX commodity exchange, the price of a barrel of WTI crude oil for export in May of this year also fell by 0.31% or $0.21, reaching $68.07 per barrel.
