DUSHANBE,  Today, 237 Tajik citizens and 13 deceased individuals who died from various causes were returned from Moscow to Dushanbe.

The majority, 197, were in Russian temporary detention centers for foreign citizens.

Per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions, a decision was made to implement a plan for the phased repatriation of citizens who were abroad when the borders were closed.

The speed of the process of returning citizens depends on the availability of space in quarantine areas.

The republican commission assures Tajik citizens that, despite many unprecedented difficulties, all the required measures will be implemented to maintain the health and safety of citizens at home and abroad.
