The parachuting of the National Flag at a height of 165 meters in the capital of independent Tajikistan - Dushanbe has made every patriot of the country proud. Undoubtedly, the erection of the National Flag, which is the tallest in the world, with a set of administrative and cultural buildings has given the city of Dushanbe additional charm and beauty. The flag has existed as a symbol of the state and the nation since ancient times and testified to the existence of the state and the nation. From time immemorial, the flag has been flown at the head of the army in battles, and the fall of the flag into the hands of the enemy was a sign of defeat and defeat of the state.

The new state flag of independent Tajikistan was adopted on November 24, 1992 at the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. This flag has been prepared with attention and on the basis of ancient national flags, including dirafshi koviyoni, a rectangular fabric consisting of three horizontal colored stripes as a symbol of the people's determination for the prosperity of our beautiful country "Dirafshi Koviyon" three shades of red, red - freedom and independence, white - peace and tranquility, green - prosperity and happiness, and among them the symbol of the golden crown of the state with seven bright stars once again testifies to the existence of ancient Tajik civilization and culture. and proclaims the patriotic aspirations and heroism of the men of our land.

Scientific, literary, cultural and sports events dedicated to this auspicious date are being held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Dedicated to the National Flag Day, a scientific club of students "Language" was held with the participation of first, second and third year students of faculties ?2, 5, 6 on the theme "Parchamat bodo parafshon - Tajikistan" in Tajik, Russian and English languages. The students recited poems in the state, Russian and English languages about the Flag, the history of the Flag, Tajikistan, National Unity, Independence, and showed an excerpt from the story of Ferdowsi's "Shohnoma" "Kova and Zahok". Linguistic skills, the way of reciting poems and stories, the interpretation of quotations, speeches encouraged the participants.
