On 23-27 February 2022, International Trade and Industrial Exhibition was held in Makkah city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of this city.
At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Saudi Arabia, a pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan was organized at the Exhibition, which presented various domestic products, samples of folk crafts, pictures depicting the beautiful nature of Tajikistan and brochures about the country's tourism opportunities.
The pavilion of Tajikistan also presented videos on trade and economic opportunities, hydropower potential and the investment climate of the country.

The Exhibition Opening Ceremony was attended by the Governor of Makkah Province, the Minister of Trade of Saudi Arabia, heads and representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Saudi Arabia as well as business and industrial communities operating in the host country.
