Participation of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow

On June 18, 2021 the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister Davlatali Said took part in the meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow.

During the meeting, the heads of delegations exchanged views on topical issues of economic cooperation and discussed issues related to various areas of economic cooperation of the CIS member states.

The report of the Interstate Committee for Statistics of the CIS on the main macroeconomic indicators of economic development of the CIS for 2020 was heard at the meeting. The CIS member states discussed the use of renewable energy sources.

At the same time, members of the CIS Economic Council agreed on a roadmap for the implementation of "Measures to reduce the negative impact of the integration of COVID-19 for the economies of the CIS countries."

At the end of the meeting 16 documents were signed, including in the field of innovative cooperation and activities of tax authorities.

The Council adopted relevant resolutions on all issues on the agenda.
