On November 10, 2022, another round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan took place in Ashgabat. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodiq Imomi, and the delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vepa Khadzhiev.
During the consultations, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic and legal spheres and expressed readiness to strengthen fruitful cooperation within international organizations, improving the legal framework of cooperation, expand trade and economic ties, as well as the development of transport links between the two countries.
The sides also stressed the importance of continuing the established dialogue at various levels for further diversification of fruitful cooperation that meets mutual interests.
