Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the participants of the Sixth All-Republican Forum of Azerbaijani Children, emphasizing the importance of children's rights and climate action. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his congratulations to the forum participants and underscored the significance of providing children with a secure future. He highlighted the contributions of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in integrating comprehensive care for children into the state policy of Azerbaijan. The President noted that significant progress had been made in this area, with ongoing efforts to ensure children receive quality education and opportunities for skill development and talent cultivation. This year's forum is held under the theme of the 'Green World Solidarity Year,' focusing on children and ecology. President Aliyev pointed out the relevance of this theme in ensuring a safe environment for children. He mentioned that Azerbaijan recently hosted the 2 9th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, where discussions focused on the impact of environmental factors on children's health and the importance of climate action. Addressing the participants, President Aliyev acknowledged their role as representatives of a new generation that has witnessed significant moments in Azerbaijan's history of independence. He emphasized that Azerbaijani children are the guarantors of the country's future and expressed confidence that the forum's decisions would contribute to the successful implementation of state policies related to children.
