In the energy sector, it was stressed that Indian public and private companies should be more actively involved in the implementation of energy projects, including renewable energy.
We called on the Indian side to expand cooperation and attract direct investment along with modern technologies in the agricultural sector.
We focused on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of medicine between Tajikistan and India, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the fight against this plague of the century. Taking advantage of this opportunity, on behalf of the Government of Tajikistan, I would like to thank the Government of India for providing medical assistance in the first phase of registration of the Covid-19 in the country and the transfer of 192,000 doses of vaccine through the Covax mechanism.
