On June 16, 2021 at the Training Stadium of the Department of State Fire Service of Dushanbe, located on Abai Street 2 in the capital, in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Day of National Unity by the Main Department of State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A professional firefighting competition was organized between the units of the State Fire Service of the Dushanbe garrison, which includes independent paramilitary units of the Main Directorate, the Department of the State Fire Service of Dushanbe and its structures, as well as units and checkpoints of cities and districts of central subordination. The sports event was opened by the First Deputy Chief of the Main Department of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Mahmudzoda Mahbub. He in particular noted that the athletes of the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its units have actively participated in various competitions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and among law enforcement agencies, as well as enterprises and organizations and achieved significant results. It should be noted that this sporting event will be held for two days, ie June 16 and 17, 2021. In the professional firefighting competition, 14 teams of athletes in the following types:
- Running 100 meters with obstacles;
- climbing the battle ladder to the 4th floor of the training tower;
- fire relay;
-Military warfare, compete with each other.
On the first day of the competition, athletes competed in the 100-meter hurdles and climbed the battle ladder to the 4th floor of the training tower.
The winners of the professional firefighting competition will be determined by the judges based on the final results at the end of the sporting event, ie on the second day of the competition. Currently, a professional firefighting competition is underway at the Training Stadium of the State Fire Service of Dushanbe.
It should be noted that, according to veterans, the professional firefighting competition was first organized and held during the Soviet era in 1937, and it has found many fans, and to this day is organized annually by the State Fire Service at a high level. conducted.
