Rector of RTSU: Students Who Could Not Return to Their Homeland Provided with Housing and Food

DUSHANBE, All students who were unable to return to their homeland during the summer holiday were provided with housing and food. This was stated today by the Rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University (RTSU) Tohir Khojazoda at a press conference.
While some Uzbek citizens left Tajikistan, some remained. Those students who left took exams remotely. No Turkmen and Russian nationals returned home.
To date, 574 foreign citizens from 13 countries study at the RTSU, including those from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, the USA, Ukraine, the Republic of Korea, China, Turkmenistan, and Mongolia.
As of May 1, 6693 students are enrolled at the university, including 2529 on a budgetary basis, 4164 on a paid basis, and studying 2154 part-time.
