On August 27, 2022, at about 11:00 a.m., the driver of a Hyundai-Avanta car, Davron Rakhimov, born in 1992, a resident of Dushanbe, while driving on the Dushanbe-Khujand-Channak highway in the village of Vahdat district of Shahristan lost control of the car and hit a pedestrian boy, born in 2017, a resident of the Shahristan district.
As a result, the pedestrian, having received injuries incompatible with life, died in the hospital.
The accident is under investigation.
