The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained the former head of the department of Alfa Telecom CJSC (MEGA trademark). Press center of the state committee reported.
Employees of the SCNS revealed the fact of purchase of equipment at inflated price.
«The former head of the IT department colluded with individual bidders and purchased IT equipment at an inflated price. Preliminary damage amounted to about 20 million soms excluding taxes,» the statement says.
The man was placed in the pretrial detention center of the SCNS. An investigation is underway.
It should be noted that the former deputy director of Alfa Telecom CJSC was also detained within the case.
