On March 20, 2022 in Dakar, Senegal, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda at the sixth meeting of the International Consultative Committee on Water Processes in Dushanbe to promote the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028". Sulton Rahimzoda and World Bank Water Policy Director Ms. Jennifer Sarah.

Sheralizoda briefed members of the International Consultative Committee on the progress of preparations for the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", which will be held June 6-9, 2022 in Dushanbe.

The meeting discussed the Program, interactive panels, event documents and other details of the Second Dushanbe Conference in order to cover its goals and topics, and identified further tasks and plans before the event in Dushanbe.

We will recall that the Dushanbe International Water Consultative Committee was established with 30 leading water experts from around the world and other stakeholders, and has held five meetings so far.
