DUSHANBE, 03.02.2017. /NIAT Khovar/. The prospects for the bilateral cooperation development in various fields were discussed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Imomuddin Sattorov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to the Russian Federation Rishi Ram Ghimire on January 31 in Moscow. NIAT Khovar has been reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation.
According to the Embassy's message, the parties have also discussed the issues of cooperation within international organizations, including the UN and the SCO.
Tajik Ambassador informed his Nepali counterpart on the adoption of the UN General Assembly Resolution International Decade for Action Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028, which was proposed at the initiative of Tajikistan in co-authorship with the 177 UN member states, � says the message.
It was also noted that the new Decade will be a logical continuation of the International Decade for Action Water for Life, 2005-2015, enriching it with new measures and efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals /SDGs/.
