The second session of the Tajik-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held by the assistance of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 1-2 April, in Riyadh city.
During the discussion of the issues of cooperation, the sides stressed the importance to make wide use of the enormous potential which is existed between the two countries.
Particularly, it was proposed to create a Joint Direct of Investment Fund and the Business Council of the two countries.
The relevant Protocol of the Joint Commission was signed on the results of it.
The two Business Forums also took place in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, on the 2 � 3 of March.
Co-chairman of the Joint commission of the Tajik side, Chairman of the State Committee of Investments and State Property Management Farrukh Hamralizoda had productive meetings with the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Saudi Arabia Majeed Al-Bawardi, the Deputy Governor of the investment climate of Saudi General Investment Authority Dr Ayedh Al � Otaibi and the Executive Director of the Saudi Development Fund Yusuf Albassam .
And also Chairman of the Committee for Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Numan Abdugafforzoda had meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and the National Heritage of Saudi Arabia Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
Great expectations also inspire bilateral contacts of active entrepreneurs of both countries.
