Tajikistan and Turkey Plan Collaborative Industrial Park for Solar and Construction.

Dushanbe: Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir met with Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Turkey Ahmet Berat Çorkar. The meeting was conducted within the framework of the first International Mining and Metallurgical Forum and Industrial Exhibition of Tajikistan. According to National information agency of Tajikistan, During the meeting, it was highlighted that both parties see significant opportunities to enhance cooperation under the provisions of the intergovernmental commission. The discussions focused on developing and deepening ties in various industrial sectors, including mining, chemical, construction, and new technologies. The talks also explored the potential for Turkish companies to participate in geological and mineral mining activities within Tajikistan. Additionally, the Turkish delegation was invited to consider establishing an industrial park in Tajikistan to facilitate joint ventures in solar panel and inverter production, as well as the manufacturing of construction materials, leveraging investment and expertise from Turkey. Overall, the meeting was characterized by mutual understanding, with both parties engaging in comprehensive discussions to identify new avenues for trade and economic partnership.
