On April 14, 2022, at the initiative of the Bahraini side, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani.
During the talks the current state and prospects of expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Bahrain in various fields, cooperation in the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as Bahrain's application for accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other issues were discussed.
The conversation was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
