Thirteen Tajik Athletes Will Take Part in the Tashkent Judo Grand Slam

The judo world tour will continue in Tashkent Grand Slam 2023, which will be attended by 13 Tajik athletes.

The tournament will be held from March 3 through March 5 with the participation of 384 athletes, including 205 men and 179 women from 52 countries.

Tajikistan Judo Federation will send 13 athletes, including 11 men, and 2 women to this tournament.

The men include Mukhammadsoleh Kuvvatov (-60 kg), Emomali Nurali (-66 kg), Shahboz Saidaburorov (-66 kg), Behruz Khojazoda (-73 kg), Mahmadsharif Najmiddinov (-73 kg), Somon Mahmadbekov (-81 kg), Muhammadjon Abdujalilov (-81 kg), Jahongir Majidov (-90 kg), Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (-90 kg), Ibrohim Elmurodov (+100 kg), and Temur Rahimov (+100 kg).

The women include Shukron Karchieva (-48 kg) and Shohida Kalandarova (-57 kg).

Winners in each weight category will receive a prize of €5,000, winners of silver medals — €3,000, and bronze medals — €1,500.
