Due to the current events in Ukraine, including the imposition of martial law throughout the country and the closure of the airspace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs brings the following information to the attention of citizens of Tajikistan.

There are 4,000 Tajik citizens left in Ukraine, 101 of whom are students.

The Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine is in the process of compiling a list of citizens wishing to return to their homeland.

As of 09:00 on February 28, 2022, the number of such citizens was more than 200, of which 76 citizens traveled to Poland and 45 citizens to Moldova independently.

The hotline of the Embassy in Kyiv is open 24 hours a day, +380933361040, through which Tajik diplomats provide immediate consular assistance in the return of citizens through third countries.

Currently, Tajik citizens can travel from Ukraine to Poland, Romania and Moldova for up to 14 days without a visa. At the same time, citizens of Tajikistan are required to bring identity documents and other relevant documents.

There are eight checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border - Shegini, Rava-Russkaya, Yagodin, Ustilug, Krakovets, Ugrinov, Smolnitsa and Grushev.

There are 7 border checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border, including Palanka-Mayaki, Jurjuleshti-Reni, Vulkaneshti-Vinogradovka, Mirnoye-Tabaki, Chadir Lunga-Novye Toryani, Bessarabka-Serpnevoe and others. Tudora-Starokazache are active.
