A Tulip Festival will be held in the laboratory of flower and ornamental plants at the Enver Gareev Botanical Garden on April 12 in Bishkek. The National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The festival is held to promote and protect this flower in the country. As the National Academy of Sciences noted, it will be an environmental and educational festival about the flora of Kyrgyzstan.
The Tulip Festival in the Botanical Garden will be held for the second time. The guests will be told about the need to preserve the unique endemic tulips included in the Red List: Greig, Kolpakovsky, Zinaida, Ostrovsky, Zhak. The Botanical Garden employees and scientists will tell about their collection of tulips.
