Yesterday, Russian groups Turetsky Choir and Soprano performed in Dushanbe with the musical project Songs of Unity. The concert was dedicated to the upcoming Victory Day and took place on 800th Anniversary of Moscow square near the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Sadriddi Ayni.

The concert included songs from the war years, famous classical compositions, and contemporary, jazz compositions. Despite the rain, the concert in the capital’s square brought together several hundred residents.

From the first notes, recognizable melodies were picked up by the audience.

A separate section of the program included the participation of children who came to the concert with their parents. They were invited to the stage, where, together with the performers, they sang the song Solar Circle. The two-hour concert kept the audience on an emotional upsurge, igniting them with energy and joy. The final chord was the song Victory Day, which the participants sang along with the artists.

Throughout the evening, the square was filled with loud music and favorite military songs familiar to every Tajik citizen from early childhood. People sang along, danced with each other, rejoicing and thanking their grandfathers and great-grandfathers for their great feat during the great Victory, which still unites different peoples all over the planet.
