Baku: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has highlighted the urgency of halting the ongoing massacre in Gaza, which has persisted for 15 months. Speaking alongside Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference in Baku, Fidan emphasized the critical need for a ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Fidan pointed out that the continued violence in Gaza has eroded trust in international organizations. He expressed hope that a ceasefire would be maintained to allow the return of approximately 2 million displaced Gazans to their homes. Fidan affirmed Trkiye's readiness to collaborate with other countries to address the humanitarian crisis and reiterated Trkiye's support for a two-state solution.
