An international tango flash mob was held in Bishkek near the monument to Kurmanjan Datka. Its organizer Ilyas Landikov told 24.kg news agency. According to him, the event was held for the sixth time, and Kyrgyzstan participated in it for the first time. Eight couples performed at the flash mob. Supply of drinking water will be suspended in a separate area of the city on August 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
The shutdown area is:
Abakanov Street — Deng Xiaoping Avenue — Kustanayskaya Street — railway line;
Kustanayskaya Street — Volkov Street — Sadygaliev Street — Deng Xiaoping Avenue.
The shutdown is due to repair work at Kirkomstrom water intake and city water supply networks.
Supply of residential buildings, schools, preschool institutions, industrial, healthcare and other social facilities with drinking water will be suspended.
