On February 11, 2022, at the initiative of the Royal Academy of Sciences and International Trust (RASIT) in cooperation with several UN member states, including Tajikistan, an international conference was held on "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: Water Unites Us".

The Tajik delegation was introduced at the event by the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali. In his speech, the Speaker of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the country noted the problems of the water sector in the world and stressed the importance of the role of the world community in preventing this process and strengthening the implementation of sustainable development goals, especially the Sixth Sustainable Development Goal. Mr. Rustam Emomali also spoke about the role of women and girls in the world community and in solving global problems, and reminded of the measures taken by the Government of Tajikistan in this regard.

The meeting was also attended by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Chairman of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly Abdullah Shahid, Presidents of Slovenia, Cyprus, Portugal, Malta, Greece, Ecuador, as well as the Prime Minister of San Marino, Ministers of Spain, Bhutan, South Korea and Latvia. and they spoke.
