Litasco S.A. (a 100% subsidiary of LUKOIL Group) has closed the sale of the ISAB S.r.l. oil refinery (Sicily) in Italy to G.O.I. ENERGY S.r.l.

G.O.I. ENERGY fulfilled the suspensive conditions, including obtaining the necessary approvals from the Italian authorities, the message of the Russian company. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The ISAB oil refining complex in the south-east of Sicily is the third largest in Europe. It consists of two refineries united by a pipeline system and integrated into a single technological complex with a total capacity of 16 million tons per year, as well as a tank farm with a volume of 3.7 mcm and three marine berths. LUKOIL became the sole owner of the ISAB complex in 2013.
