FM Muhriddin Attends Central Asia + Japan Dialogue Ministerial Meeting

Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended the ministerial meeting of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue via videoconference.

The meeting focused on further strengthening cooperation between Central Asia and Japan, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, countering the COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening border control, implementation of the sustainable development goals in the region, and cooperation in the international and regional issues.

Muhriddin emphasized that Tajikistan has established good cooperation with Japan on the development and implementation of various projects in the fields of agriculture, education, energy, industry, healthcare, transport, tourism, and IT technology to achieve its sustainable development goals.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue mutual beneficial cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.

OIC Delegation Will Attend Dushanbe Second Water Conference

On April 14 in Jeddah, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Akram Karimi met with the OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha.

The meeting focused on the current state and prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and OIC. At the same time, a broad overview of the preparation process for the second conference International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028» was presented. Issues of Trade Turnover Between Tajikistan and Lithuania Discuss in Dushanbe
