Trade Volume Between Iran and Tajikistan Will Reach €500 Million

According to the agreements reached between Iran and Tajikistan, the volume of bilateral trade will increase to €500 million. This was said by the Tajik Ambassador to Tehran Nizomiddin Zohidi referring to the long-term economic cooperation between the two states.

He spoke at a conference held at the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tehran, dedicated to the prospects for relations between the two countries on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Tajikistan.

Diplomatic relations between Iran and Tajikistan include 160 cooperation documents, said Ambassador Zohidi.

Expressing Tajikistan’s support for Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, he said that Tajikistan believes that Iran’s permanent membership in the SCO will be in the interests of all countries.

Film by Tajik Director Received Prize at the International Hollywood Gold Awards

The film by Tajik director Firdavs Niyozov “The Killing of a Fox” received the award for “Best Stage Direction” at the awards ceremony of the International Hollywood Gold Awards.

According to the director, the film also won the Best Director’s Award at the 8 and HalFilm Awards in Italy.

The film was shot in September-November 2020 with the support of the director of Safina TV Nosir Said and director Firdavs Niyozov.

According to Niyozov, the film “The Killing of a Fox” will be shown in cinemas in Tajikistan in the coming days.

Doctors will be the first to receive the third dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. This was said by the head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Safety, Emergencies and Emergency Medical Aid of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population Navruz Jafarov.

“After the doctors, civil servants, teachers and vulnerable groups of the population will undergo revaccination. The revaccination of all medical personnel has already begun in the capital. Doctors from all regions of the country will also receive the third dose of the vaccine. As noted earlier, currently, 68.6% of the population received the first dose, and 57% — the second,” Jafarov noted.

According to him, currently, due to a new strain of omicron, people entering the country are undergoing additional tests to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Omicron was officially registered in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, with this in mind, the leadership of our country began the revaccination program.

“Currently, the situation in the country is stable. Due to lower temperatures, the number of viral respiratory infections has increased. The country is vaccinated with Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, CoronaVac, Moderna, and Pfizer.
