Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has visited the Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator George Akume to discuss areas of cooperation and intervention by the federal government.
Governor Buni highlighted the State of federal projects in the state and the urgent need for federal intervention.
It could be recalled that some federal roads were washed away by the floods last year.
Other projects include the Damaturu regional water supply, the Fika Water project, the electricity supply and others.
The Secretary to the Federal government, Sen. George Akume, assured Governor Buni that the federal government will look into these projects to improve the lives of the people.
He also assured the commitment of the Tinubu administration to working on the same page for the benefit of the people of the state.
Similarly, Governor Buni has met with private investors with the proposal to establish agro-allied industries in the state.
The Governor said the Yobe state government would establish an industrial village to be provided with facilities to woo investors to the State.
