On November 1, 2022, a conference entitled “30 years of Tajikistan-Iran relations and its prospects” was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran in cooperation with the International Reading Institute of Tehran.
Scientific and cultural workers, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranian mass media, as well as Tajik compatriots living in Iran, took part in this conference.
Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Nizamuddin Zahidi, director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khayriddin Usmonzoda, head of the International Reading Institute of Tehran Obid Akbari, director general of the Center for General Diplomacy and Media of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Alirizo Dilkhush, well-known Iranian researcher and Tajik expert Nadir Karimiani Sardashti and others. in their speeches, they discussed the state of relations between Tajikistan and Iran in the past thirty years and its prospects, expressed their thoughts and suggestions on ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries.
On the sidelines of this event, photos from the tourist and historical places of Tajikistan, which reflect the country’s tourism potential, as well as the books of the National Leader and the works of Tajik writers, poets and scientists in Farsi and English languages were exhibited.
