The Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) lobby group has congratulated Chief Solomon Okporua Ighrakpata on his appointment as Chairman of Delta State Board of Internal Revenue (DBIR).
The former Deputy Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly hails from Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.
In a congratulatory message signed by Chief Ighoyota Amori and Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, National Chairman and National Publicity Secretary of DC-23 respectively, expressed hope that Ighrakpata will deploy his experience in various positions held to the service of the state.
The group stated that Chief Ighrakpata’s appointment is a befitting development that is rooted in dedication, loyalty, and history.
“The appointment is clearly fit for purpose and is deserving for our own National Deputy Chairman of DC-23, Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, whose record of service as a former member of DBIR, former Deputy Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly and global statesman is unblemished.”
