Kazakhstan Plans to Open a New Flight to Dushanbe in 2023

Kazakhstan will launch a new flight to Tajikistan. We are talking about the establishment of air communication between Shymkent and Dushanbe, reports Kapital.kz with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.

The opening of the flight is planned not earlier than in 6 months, during the spring-summer navigation period of 2023. Also, it is not yet known which Kazakh airline will carry passengers.

Currently, there are several flights between the two countries. The Tajik airline Somon Air and the Kazakh air carrier Air Astana operate a flight from Dushanbe to Almaty and back.

Earlier it became known that the authorities of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are planning to open a direct flight on the Dushanbe-Baku route in the very near future.

The issue of opening a flight between Dushanbe and Tbilisi was also discussed.
