On September 14, 2021 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Director General of the Department of Public Security of the State of Qatar Saad bin Jassim Al-Khulaifi.
The sides discussed issues of expanding and strengthening cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Qatar, and on this basis further plans for the implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Security Cooperation.
Taking into account the growing threats and challenges of modern times, the exchange of views took place on ways to effectively and jointly combat international terrorism and transnational organized crime.
