Omsk business to cooperate with Chamber of Commerce of Kyrgyzstan

A Business Forum was held in Bishkek as part of a visit of a delegation from Omsk Oblast of Russia. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The delegation is headed by Dmitry Ushakov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk Oblast. It includes representatives of large businesses and higher educational institutions of Omsk, who are ready to provide free education quotas for Kyrgyz students.

The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev noted that Russia is not only a strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan, but also an ally. He stressed that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic pays a lot of attention to expansion of economic cooperation and seeks to strengthen the bridge of cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.

As a result of the Business Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Union of the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The delegation from Omsk Oblast visited a number of enterprises, such as garment, meat, medical and educational institutions. Businessmen got acquainted with the opportunities for cooperation in the aforementioned sectors.

The first Kyrgyz-Russian Business Forum was held in Osh. It was attended by entrepreneurs from the southern regions, such as Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken.
