Tajikistan, Moldova Seek Closer Trade Ties

On September 27, 2022, in Chisinau, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Moldova Davlatali Nazrizoda met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, co-chairman of the Tajik-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation Vadim Gumene.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Tajik-Moldovan relations. Special attention was paid to strengthening and expanding trade and economic cooperation, increasing trade turnover, strengthening the legal framework, as well as holding a regular meeting of the Tajik-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.

Moscow to Host Meeting of Heads of Intelligence services in CIS countries

The heads of the security and intelligence services of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will hold a meeting in Moscow. This was reported by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation.

“On 30 September 2022, Moscow will host the 18th meeting of the Meeting of the Heads of Security Agencies and Intelligence Services of the CIS Member States on Intelligence Activities. The event will be attended by delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and, of course, the Russian Federation,” the message says.

Tajik Ambassador Meets Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova

On September 28, 2022, in Chisinau, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Moldova, Davlatali Nazrizoda and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova Andrei Spinu.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Moldova, special attention was paid to improving the legal framework, strengthening and developing trade and economic cooperation, increasing trade turnover, as well as holding the next meeting of the Tajik-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation.

Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova

During the talks, the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral relations were discussed, much attention was paid to strengthening the legal framework, developing trade and economic cooperation and holding the next meeting of the Tajik-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, inter-ministerial political consultations and preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova.

Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea within the framework of international and regional organizations. In addition, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investment between Tajikistan and Korea.

Ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Tajikistan

On September 30, 2022, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, academician Talbak Nazarov and employees of the central office of the Ministry, a ceremonial meeting was held on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin delivered a welcoming speech and congratulated the audience on their professional holiday.

In his speech, the Minister noted that thanks to the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, during the period of independence, the country not only established mutually beneficial relations with the states of the world, but also with the implementation of its inherent diplomacy based on the protection of national interests and respect for universal values, became recognized as active, an initiative and influential country in solving global problems.

For his part, Academician Talbak Nazarov made a speech about the history of formation, difficulties and achievements of the Tajik diplomacy and active foreign policy promotion under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
