Rahmon participates in official opening ceremony of the shopping, service and residential complex in Khujand

On April 1, President Emomali Rahmon participated in an official opening ceremony of the shopping, service and residential complex, called Somon Plaza, in Khujand, the capital of Sughd province, according to the Tajik president's official website. This facility was built by local entrepreneur Islomjon Soliyev, top manager of the Hamdasti-2013 Limited Liability Company (LLC). This complex reportedly consists of two 13-story buildings. The complex is home for the diagnostic and treatment center Dastai Dil, construction of which was financed by local businessman Nasim Mirpochoyev in collaboration with investors from Uzbekistan. The installed devices and equipment are reportedly manufactured by reputable German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American companies. There are 120 treatment and hospitalization and auxiliary rooms in the diagnostic and treatment center Dasta Dil, and medical services are provided to 100 needy people a day. It is reportedly possible to treat 50 patients at a time. 126 apartments are reportedly housed in the upper floors of the complex. The facility is connected to heating and a separate electricity line. In accordance with the municipal redevelopment plant, five more high-rise residential buildings, a sports ground, a playground for children and a place for residents to relax will be built in this area.

Rahmon presents gifts to 100 orphans in Khujand city

On April 1, President Emomali Rahmon met with 100 orphans from the cities of Khujand, Konibodom, and Isfara as wells Spitamen district at the Somon Plaza shopping, service and residential complex in Khujand and presented them with Navrouz gifts, says the Tajik president's official website. A polypropylene bag production plant introduced into operation in FEZ Sughd in northern Tajikistan

On April 1, President Emomali Rahmon participated in an officially ceremony of introducing a polypropylene (PP) bag production plant into operation in the Sughd Free Economic Zone (FEZ Sughd), according to the Tajik president's official website. The plant was built by Aziapolitex Limited Liability Company (LLC), managed by local entrepreneurs Miraziz Usmonov and Ilhomjon Bobojonov. The plant reportedly created 300 new jobs for local residents and it runs three shifts a day. Five modern technological lines delivered from China and Turkiye are assembled and installed at the enterprise producing large-sized polypropylene bags with a capacity of 500 kilograms to 3 tons. The entire list of manufactured products reportedly meets international standards in terms of appearance and quality. The facility is built on an area of 1 hectare. The construction of this enterprise began in 2018 and was completed with a high level of quality this year. The Tajik president's official website says polypropylene bags manufactured by this facility are of high quality and are intended for coal, cement, grain and other types of agricultural products. Polypropylene bags are made from the synthetic plastic polymer polypropylene, used in bags because it is strong, flexible, and reusable. They lend themselves to a wide variety of uses, both for consumers and businesses alike. It is to be noted that manufacturing PP fiber from polypropylene is reportedly a process with low impact on the environment-no toxic waste, no toxic emissions, no fluorocarbons and no halogens.
