Another batch of smuggled medicines was detained in Batken region. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
A Volkswagen LT van driven by a 32-year-old resident of Arka village, Leilek district, was detained on Osh — Razzakov road in Alga village, Kadamdzhai district.
The van transported 116 boxes of smuggled medicines and 174,000 ampoules without any shipping documents.
The detained cargo was estimated at 4,350 million soms.
The van was placed on the territory of the customs terminal, investigative and operational measures are being taken to identify the persons involved in the smuggling.
