Meeting with the Minister of Trade of Turkey

On 10 December 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashr?f Gulov met with the Minister of Trade of Turkey Mehmet Mush.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current situation and opportunities for the development of trade and economic relations, including within the framework of the Joint Governmental Economic Commission between Tajikistan and Turkey.

The interlocutors discussed the current state and further steps to implement the clauses of the Joint Action Plan of the 11th meeting of the Joint Governmental Economic Commission between Tajikistan and Turkey, including issues related to strengthening cooperation in the trade and economic, investment, banking, agriculture, energy, industry, construction and architecture, transport, civil aviation, communications, tourism, environmental protection, health care, education and science, culture, labor and social protection, standardization, sports and youth policy spheres.

Webinar “Partnership of Tajik and Turkish companies in the field of medical and pharmaceutical industry”

On December 10, 2021 at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkey a virtual webinar on "Partnership of Tajik and Turkish companies in the medical and pharmaceutical industry" with the participation of officials of relevant ministries and departments and members of the Council on Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK); Turkey (MUSIAD) and the involvement of more than 50 Tajik-Turkish companies in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.

The meeting was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection G. Mukhsinzoda, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Khurshed Qodir, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey Gulov Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tajikistan E.Karagyol, Vice President of MUSIAD D.Altunbash, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan M.Rustamova, Chairman of the Tajik-Turkish Business Council under the Council on Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK) Jahongir Saatchioglu the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

The meeting was also attended by experts and members of the Medical Council under MUSIAD, the Health Council under DEIK, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan to strengthen economic cooperation in this area. In the field of health and medicine, taking into account the pursuit of Tajikistan's goals for the establishment of clusters and technology parks on the basis of the experience of Turkey, conducted extensive discussions.

Illicit trafficking in propaganda materials

As a result of search operations by police on suspicion of trafficking in explosives was detained 26-year-old resident of Dushanbe.

During a personal search of the detainee was found and seized 14 thousand 572 pieces of pyrotechnic devices.

An investigation is under way.

Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

On December 9, 2021 in Cairo the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt for Asian Affairs Ayman Komil.

The sides exchanged views on the further development of traditionally friendly relations in the political, economic, agricultural, health, humanitarian, tourism and security spheres between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting it was noted the deep interest in the activation of communication tools, including the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

It was considered important to take joint measures in the process of preventing the impact of COVID-19 infectious disease and the consequences of climate change.

The two sides had a constructive talk on the situation in the region, partnership in the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual interest.

Meeting of the Ambassador with the Minister of Commerce of Turkey

On December 10, 2021 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashraf Gulov met with the Minister of Commerce of Turkey Mehmet Mush.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the current state and development of economic and trade relations, including in the framework of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current situation and further steps to implement the provisions of the 11th Joint Action Plan of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, including the issues of strengthening cooperation in trade, economy, investment, banking, agriculture, agriculture, industry, construction and architecture, transport, civil aviation, communications, tourism, environmental protection, health, education and science, culture, labor and social protection, sports and youth policy, standardization and other important issues of bilateral cooperation.
